From boring to busy, busy, busy in just three days...

I havent updated in awhile, and I find it funny that I am doing it right at this moment when I have a ton of stuff to do yet tonight before I go to bed, but I just wanted to fill everyone in on whats been happening in my life...

I got hired with Kelly Services last week and started my first assignment this week. I am working as a recepionist and accounts payable clerk at a manufacturing plant. This job is good and I am getting paid decently for it. I like the people and the work itself is keeping me busy. I am only suppose to be on the assignment for a couple of weeks, but there is a good possiblity that they will ask me to stay. I would like to if given the opportunity and on top of all that the plant is only 25 mintues from my house. All the way around it's good for me.

Famiy life is good and starting to buzz with activity. Dad is already gearing up for the Christmas Musical at church and usually when he does he manages to get the whole family involved just by being near him. All of us have been spending a couple of hours on Saturdays to help clear out our pond of cattails. We had sand brought in and eventaully the thing will be swimable. We will definately be having some awesome bonfire/pond parties in the future. Dan is back to the grind with school and doing better than ever there. So proud of him for that. Mark is loving his new job, which it is good to see him enjoying that for a change, and will be starting EMT school at Richmond/Lennox EMT in a couple of weeks. That will be interesting! :) Scott will be getting out of Instructor class in September and will probably teaching him before the end. Mom is doing well trying to spend more time out with the horses.

Oh! Speaking of horses, side note. Next spring I am going to be an aunt :) We sent one of our mares (a girl horse) out to be breed this past June and we found out about two weeks ago that she is indeed pregnant. So excitingly enough we will have a little one running around in the pastures next year!

Ok, back on topic. Besides all that mentioned above, things are going well. Scott and I have seemed to get stronger in our relationship as we work through some of the problems that came up this spring. I finally feel like we are seeing some results from our hard work. Eventually we will be fully back on track and then, well ... lets see what happens :)

This weekend I am going to be swamped. Sunday is our chruch picnic and because I am on the committe that put the whole thing together I will be gone there all that day. Saturday mornign I will be helping the family with the pond and that is the first time Scott and I will be able to see each other during the whole week so we have decided to spend it by ourselves to get some quality time in. Talked about going up to the Goodells Fair ... maybe catch a movie ... I am sure we will figure out something fun to do :)
